dbgrade.tech is operated by Pascal Cescato, sole proprietor, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, France. SIRET: [awaiting for it]. Contact: [email protected].

This policy explains what personal data is collected through this website, why, and how it is handled, in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

    1. Data We Collect

    • Contact form: name, work email, phone number, company, database engine, and any message you provide.
    • Audit delivery: if you order an audit, the email address and any details needed to arrange database access and deliver the report.
    • Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), collected by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and performance purposes.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data to third parties.

    2. Why We Collect It

    • To respond to contact form submissions and quote requests.
    • To deliver the audit service you have ordered.
    • To keep basic accounting and invoicing records, as required by French law.
    • To maintain the security and availability of the website.

Processing is based on: your consent when submitting the contact form; the performance of a contract once an audit is ordered; and our legal obligation to retain invoicing records.

    4. Data Retention

    • Contact form submissions that do not lead to a service order are kept for up to 12 months.
    • Client and invoicing data is kept for the duration required by French commercial and tax law (currently 10 years for accounting records).
    • Database credentials or access details provided for an audit are discarded once the audit is complete, unless a different arrangement is agreed with the client.

    5. Hosting and Sub-processors

This website is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of providing hosting, security, and content delivery. No other third party has access to the personal data collected through this site.

    6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
